Last week, we introduced some innovative features of our Smart Reminders product. You can read about real-time confirmations and tracking, as well as the data and metrics accessible in real-time in last week’s post. This week, we’re sharing a few more exciting features of this product.
Our Smart Reminders product is fully customizable based on your business, your patients, and your needs. You have full control of how your reminder service works, and you can customize it to your own workflow. You’re able to easily make changes and adjustments through your account settings. You can send reminders when you want and make changes through our web form on the fly – how it works best for you, when it works best.
You can even adjust the method of communication that best suits your practice’s needs.
Each patient is different. So, based on patient preferences, you can enable different modes of communication or even disable all communication.
If your patient has multiple appointments on the same day (e.g. dermatology practices where patients see an Aesthetician before the MD), you don’t have to inundate your patient with reminders. You can change the settings, so that they only receive a reminder for their first appointment of the day. Our reminder service works for you. You can customize it so that it works best for your practice and your patients.
You can also control what happens when a patient responds to a reminder. If the patient chooses to cancel their appointment, you can choose to automatically opt them into your wait-list to ensure they make a follow-up appointment.
Healthcare professionals, we want to hear from you. If you work in healthcare, click this link, take our 10-minute survey, and get entered in our giveaway for a $100 Visa gift card.
You can also fully control “quiet hours.” These are hours at which patients will not receive any messages from your practice. This helps to ensure that your patients aren’t receiving messages and reminders at innapropriate times of the day.
For example, let’s say you’ve selected the preference that you would like patients to get reminders 12 hours before their appointment. You have a patient with an appointment at 3pm. However, you don’t want their reminder going out at 3am in the morning! So, if quiet hours are set, the reminder that would go out at 3am would be delayed and would not be sent until quiet hours are over.
We have only really begun to scratch the surface of what is possible and innovate with our Smart Reminder product. If you want to read about more innovative features of this product, read last week’s post here. And stay tuned for more.
